This session applies the time-tested McKinsey 7S framework (strategy, structure, systems, style, staff, skills, and shared values) to today’s cybersecurity leadership issues.  Topics such as CISO evolution, developing a strategy, reporting relationships, privacy, incident lessons learned, reporting to the board, generational workforce management, laws, and control frameworks are covered. The workshop is based upon the new book by the presenter, CISO COMPASS: Navigating Cybersecurity Leadership Challenges with Insights from Pioneers (2019).
