About BWIT
Birmingham Women in Technology provides regular monthly programming for women working in technology, including opportunities for mentoring, education, and career development.
BWIT’s Mission: To increase, retain, and ensure representation of Women+ in tech and tech leadership roles in our community. To support community and state initiatives to increase the number of Women+ in technology, support diversity and inclusion goals, and attract companies to invest in our community.
Our Vision: Advocate for, empower, and provide guidance to Women+ pursuing and navigating technology careers by providing access to programs, events, education, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Provide opportunities for Women to support other Women with our mission.
